Red diesel is no longer permitted to be used as a commercial heating fuel as of April 2022. Industrial heating oil (IHO) is not affected by the duty changes and is a cost-effective fuel that has been formulated specifically for heating.
IHO is strictly prohibited for use in any vehicle, be it for on-road or off-road vehicles, as well as any other mobile or static engines.
