Crown Oil Charity Chest Waxing raises over £1000 for Charity

We are proud to announce that staff members in Crown Oil’s sales department have raised over £1000 for MacMillan, having organised a charity chest waxing.

Two members of the team, Chris Beatty and Oli Bullock, bravely volunteered to have their chests waxed if the rest of the staff were able to raise a significant amount for charity. The event was created in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Joanne Illingworth, one of our Business Development managers, organised the event, arranging for staff from a local beauty salon to perform the waxing in our sales office.

The waxing was the main event on a day of charity fundraising from the sales team, which also included raffles and a cracker eating contest. Staff rallied behind the fundraising and we were happy to raise the final amount which totalled just over £1000.

Staff had the chance to bid for the opportunity to wax a strip from either of the lads. This gave them the chance to settle a few old scores. Both Chris and Oli were good sports and were looking nice and smooth after the waxing was complete.
