C1 Kerosene – What Are the Specifications?
BS 2869 Class C1 kerosene is a high smoke point, clean-burning kerosene with exceptionally low sulphur content. It is ideal for use in horticultural applications for the production of heat and carbon dioxide that is free from acidic combustion gases.
C1 kerosene is also suitable for use in space heaters/jet blowers, wick fed lamps, and also as barbecue lighter fuel. Many fuel suppliers that offer premium grade home heating oil ensure it meets C1 grade standards.
