Star Oil joins the Crown Oil Group: The Star in the Crown
We’re excited to announce our latest acquisition of Stockport-based fuel supplier, Star Oil. Joining sister brands Speedy Fuels, Beesley Fuels, Cooke Fuels, Ingoe Oils, and Birlem Fuels, Star Oil is in good company.
As part of the acquisition, the newest edition to our family will continue to trade as Star Oil, giving us a greater presence in the North West area.
About Star Oil
Star Oil is an £18m-turnover business that trades out of Stockport, Greater Manchester. Established in the 1950s, Star 24/7 has been delivering fuel, oil and lubricants across the North West for over 60 years, making the business a great fit for the Crown Oil family.
The new acquisition will add eight fuel tankers to our growing fleet of fuel delivery vehicles and 11 members of staff from Star Oil will join Crown Oil, including Christian Hatherall, who will be senior operations manager for the business. Michael Doyle, who also founded Star Oil, will be leaving for new opportunities.
