Courier Logistics Drives Down Delivery Emissions with HVO
Courier Logistics are putting their money where their mouth is and are on a mission to become one of the UK’s most sustainable multimodal logistics businesses.
The sector faces one of the most substantial challenges to reach net zero or even achieve carbon neutrality, but they aren’t letting that stop them.
The firm has recently launched a new initiative called ‘CarbonLITE’ – their promise to make logistics ‘better, greener, and cleaner’.
A huge part of this scheme is transitioning their fleet over to HVO – our 100% renewable diesel that cuts up to 90% of net CO2 emissions right away. HVO can be used as a straight swap for diesel without compromising performance and is now bunkered onsite to enable easy refuelling for a large proportion of its fleet.
The logistics company has initially switched one quarter of its diesel to HVO, and given its success, they aim to achieve 100% HVO usage in its fleet by 2030.
Our product is made from 100% renewable raw materials and sustainable waste from verified vegetable fats and oils and is verified at import by the ISCC. We are also a member of the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS) with a fully validated and auditable supply chain.
